The milk is packed in 1 litre and 0.5 liter glass bottles and it is delivered in jute bags.
The glass bottles are recycled. You need to rinse the bottle and put it into the jute bag, which is also recycled, to allow us to deliver the next day’s milk.
The glass bottle is environmentally friendly but brittle. We sincerely urge you to handle it with care as broken glass could potentially cause injury.
There is a charge for broken bottles and un-returned jute bags
The milk is delivered between 5:00 am to 8:30 am every morning.
Deliveries are done by the company delivery people.
Our delivery person can leave the Jute bag containing the bottle at your door step. Or he can ring your doorbell and leave the bottle at your door step, or give you the bottle in person.

We would start delivering milk from next day from the date of subscription if you subscribe before 5 pm. Milk delivery will start from day after tomorrow from the date of subscription if you subscribe after 5 pm
In case of a revision of the price at any time, or any number of times, the milk will still be supplied at the subscribed cost for the duration of a valid subscription credit. Renewals will be at price prevailing at the time of renewal.
Yes, the milk delivery can be stopped, and resumed, at any time with prior intimation upto 7:30 pm the previous day.
Yes, the milk quantity can be temporarily increased or reduced, within the subscription credit.
Yes, you can change your choice of milk – start/stop or increase/reduce, with prior intimation up to 7:30 pm the previous day, subject to subscription credit and availability of the product(s).
The delivered quantity will be adjusted against the subscribed quantity, on a daily basis. A monthly delivery statement will be available on our webapp indicating the subscription credit in milk quantity. The delivery will continue uninterrupted within the subscription credit.
Sorry, the milk delivery cannot be diverted
Subscription is valid for 90 days. The unused subscription amount will not be refunded.

Yes, on exceptional circumstances and with prior intimation, the milk delivery can be made to a designated neighbor.
Your milk is delivered 7 days a week, 365 days a year, unless there is an exceptional emergency situation.
There is no additional charge beyond the subscription amount.

The Barosi delivery person will ring your doorbell and hand over the milk in person. This helps preserve the quality since the milk can be put in the refrigerator immediately.
The Barosi delivery person will keep the milk outside your door/gate. This puts the quality at risk since the milk may lie un-refrigerated for a while. You should opt for this only if the door-bell delivery is inconvenient.

You can surf and add products to the cart without registration but only registered shoppers will be able to checkout and place orders. Registered members have to be logged in at the time of checking out the cart, they will be prompted to do so if they are not logged in.

Yes, we do understand the importance of time and the toil involved in shopping groceries. Members in a family can have the same address provided the email address and phone numbers associated with the accounts are unique.
My Account is the section you reach after you log in at Barosi webapp. My Account allows you to track your active orders, credit note details as well as see your order history and update your contact details.
You need to enter your email address on the Login page and click on forgot password. An email with a reset password will be sent to your email address. With this, you can change your password. In case of any further issues please contact our customer support team.
Credit notes reflect the amount of money which you have pending in your Barosi account to use against future purchases. This is calculated by deducting your total order value minus undelivered value. You can see this in "My Account" under credit note details.
No, However GST will be applicable as per Government Regulizations.
Yes it is absolutely safe to use your card on Barosi. A recent directive from RBI makes it mandatory to have an additional authentication pass code verified by VISA (VBV) or MSC (Master Secure Code) which has to be entered by online shoppers while paying online using visa or master credit card. It means extra security for customers, thus making online shopping safer
If we are not able to delivery all the products in your order and you have already paid for them online, the balance amount will be refunded to your Barosi account as credit and you can use it at any time against your future orders. Should you want it to be credited to your bank account please contact our customer support team and we will refund it back on to your card.
All the subscription based products will be delivered between 5 am to 8:30 am in the morning regularly. If you subscribe for new subscription after 5 pm your first delivery will be on day after tomorrow from the subscription date. All the one time products will be delivered same day if we receive the order before 12 in the noon. All the one time orders will be delivered next day as per the slot selected by you if we receive them after 12 in the noon.
We have a dedicated team of delivery personnel and a fleet of vehicles operating across the city which ensures timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
You can change your delivery address on our website once you log into your account. Click on "My Account" at the top right hand corner and go to the "Update My Profile" section to change your delivery address.
Delivery charges are nil for all the subscription based products. For all one time orders Rs 30 will be charged as delivery charges.

No you can only order products which are in stock. We try to ensure availability of all products on our website however due to supply chain issues sometimes this is not possible

We charge an order cancellation fee to compensate time and effort incurred towards processing an order.
Every order placed has to undergo a system driven process as well as a manual process in order to make sure the order reaches our customers on time, every time. During the event of a cancellation the entire process has to be stopped and reset.
At the time of delivery, we advise you to kindly check every item. Please report any missing item that is invoiced. As a benefit to our customers, if you are not available at the time of order delivery or you haven’t checked the list at the time of delivery we provide a window of 48hrs to report missing items. This is applicable only for items that are invoiced.

We have a ""no questions asked return and refund policy"" which entitles all our members to return the product at the time of delivery if due to some reason they are not satisfied with the quality or freshness of the product. We will take the returned product back with us and issue a credit note for the value of the return products which will be credited to your account on the Site. This can be used to pay your subsequent shopping bills.

As soon as you place an order, the following actions take place:
1.You will get a notification through SMS of the confirmed order along with the expected delivery.
2. The Barosi is notified of the order and the delivery timing. Then we prepares your order, packs it and generates their bill for the same.
3. Meanwhile, after the order is accepted, an executive is deployed by Barosi to pick up the order and deliver the same to you.
4. After the order is delivered to you successfully, you will receive an SMS confirming the delivery.
Throughout the above stages, our Order Fulfillment Team continuously monitors the process so that you get the desired product within the time committed to you. In case the order cannot be processed for any reason whatsoever, the same will be informed to you at the earliest.
We try to make sure the inventory is always updated so that your order can be fulfilled at all times. However, in case an item you ordered is unavailable at the webapp you selected, our order fulfillment team will notify you of the same in quick time.
